About CPR

Catalyst for Payment Reform (CPR) is an independent, non-profit corporation working on behalf of large employers and other health care purchasers to catalyze improvements in how we pay for health services and to promote higher-value care in the U.S. CPR members have a shared agenda for payment reform along with tools that catalyze change in the marketplace and align public and private-sector strategies. CPR’s view is that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to payment reform and hopes to spark significant experimentation and rigorous evaluation so we can learn what payment reform methods work best and in what context. CPR sought to build the Compendium to create a clearinghouse of information for those who want to accelerate the nation’s efforts to reform health care payment.
